Today I started researching into materials and how to create cool looking materials with light effects. I made the images that can be seen below inside of one hour using this method.
The first of these materials is a metal material. It was made by making a basic grey circle, adding light effects and then overlaying a metal texture. The second material is a basic purple material. It consists of a purple circle with light effects added. The last material is a wood material. This was done in the same way as the first one but with different colours and then adding a wood texture instead of a metal texture.
