After making my previous post that included a small evaluation about my models, I decided to go more in depth with my evaluation. Here it is.
-
How effective was your modelling? What went well? What could you improve about each model?
My overall modelling process went quite well. I feel that the models came out looking very smooth. Despite this, I think that they could look a lot smoother if I put the time into it.
How effective was your UV mapping? What went well? What could you improve about each UV’s?
My UV mapping also went quite well. I was able to UV map objects quickly so I could get them into photoshop and texture them. However, I would have liked to be able to lay them out in a more effective manner.

How effective was your Texturing? What went well? What could you improve about your Texturing for each model?
In terms of texturing, it looked very bad. The models looked very poor. I feel that, given the knowledge, I would have been able to texture these to a higher standard.
-
Do you feel you successfully make an asset pack for your chosen location?
I think that my asset pack was quite successful as it looked quite decent.
-
Are there any other things you could improve? Time management, presentations skills, rendering?
If I had to improve any area, it would definitely be the texturing as it looked very bad.

Peer Feedback – Ask a peer to give you feedback on the same areas of your asset pack (Modelling, UVing, Texturing)
Shain Honsford said this: “I think your models are well made with good detail , and they represent what they are well. They have been textured well, however I think your stop sign looks too much like concrete, and less like metal. You can fix this by reducing the opacity of the metal texture you have on it. ”

Set yourself a target for each area based on your evaluations and your peer feedback ( these will be copied into your development scale on the classroom)
My models could be improved by making them smoother. My UV’s could be improved by laying them out in an effective manner. My textures could be improved by adding better detail.
